Avli-Milos

Nestled in the heart of Milos in the capital of Plaka, lies Avli-Milos

With a charming rock taverna setting and a blend of traditional Greek and modern aesthetics, Avli-Milos is not only a treat for the tastebuds but also a treat for the eyes. 

They take pride in their carefully crafted menu, using fresh local ingredients and blending Mediterranean flavours. 

My personal favourite has to be their Ouzo-infused spaghetti (trust me, give it a go).

Whether you’re a fan of tasty seafood or classic Greek dishes, Avli-Milos has something for everyone. 

It’s a perfect spot for a romantic date or a family get-together, and one of my favourite restaurants in Milos.

Nestled in Plaka’s village in a traditional Greek building featuring whitewashed walls lies Utopia. 

Utopia is one of the most unique restaurants in Milos as it offers a breathtaking sunset view directly from its terrace.

This hillside café serves both classic and unique cocktails and some seriously scrumptious dishes. 

Here you can enjoy some simple sunset snacks, sandwiches, seafood, fresh fish fillets, and delicious desserts. 

Not only is Utopia one of the best places to eat in Milos, but it also probably has the best sunset viewing spot on the whole island, so be sure to add this one to your list.

Kri Kri

Craving pizza after a week of traditional Greek meals? Then you need to  head to Kri Kri in Plaka.

Kri Kri is a top spot that serves tasty pizzas, and great cocktails, and has a lively atmosphere.

The Deck

The Deck in Pollonia is a top restaurant in Milos for brunch and cocktails. 

Their rooftop terrace has amazing sea views, perfect for relaxing brunches and sunset drinks. 

They’re known for a delicious Mediterranean spin on classic brunch foods and other Western delights like sandwiches and burgers. 

Make sure to try their tasty pancakes, fruit smoothies and their silky, strong coffee. 

If you are in the market for sunset drinks then I highly recommend the espresso martini.

Enalion

Enalion is a restaurant built on the premise of Nostalgia. 

They pride themselves on cooking delicious simple food, to be shared with family and friends that will evoke memories for years to come. 

Their produce is grown on 7 acres of family farmland, ensuring that you get the best quality food served on your plates. 

On their menu, you can find dishes such as octopus stifado, shrimp saganaki and even sea urchin!

Gialos restaurant

Situated by the water in Pollonia, Gialos is a classic Greek tavern with a special touch. 

With a lovely view of small fishing boats, Gialos is a charming place worth checking out.

Armenaki

Here, they focus on making dishes rooted in Greek and Mediterranean flavours whilst turning these cooking traditions into something a little more unique. 

On the menu, you can find dishes such as seafood moussaka, baked octopus and lobster

Akrotiri has also won the “Gold Prize of Authentic Greek Taste” from the Greek Taste Beyond Borders Organization. 

So if you’re looking for the opportunity to eat at an award-winning restaurant, this is it.

Micros Apoplous

The must-try dishes are their onion pie and the garlic lasagna, and you probably shouldn’t leave without trying one of their homemade desserts either.

They pride themselves on using local, fresh and natural ingredients producing dishes such as grilled octopus and some of the best halloumi you’ll ever try!

Astakas

Located just a stone’s throw from the famous Catacombs of Milos lies Astakas, a beachfront restaurant in the colourful town of Klima. 

Astakas is the perfect spot to enjoy a light lunch after a morning of exploring, or a hearty dinner whilst basking in the warm golden hour glow. 

Here you can find local Mediterranean cuisine, such as fresh Greek salads, gyros and fresh seafood.

Due to its location, Astakas gets extremely busy, so I would recommend reserving some time in advance, especially during the height of summer. 

Sirocco Volcanic All-Day Restaurant

📍Location: Paleochori Beach

Located at Paleochori Beach Sirocco has to be the most aesthetically pleasing restaurant in Milos. 

Think modern bohemia complete with an impeccable sea view. 

Their menu consists of seasonal, Cycladic cuisine using fresh local ingredients. 

Sirocco prides itself on unique cooking methods such as burying pots of food in the sand, to cook overnight in the warmth of the sand.

You can expect succulent meats and melt-in-your-mouth seafood.
